Our Vision

Peace in the country and in each individual, prosperity for all in a culturally and intellectually rich environment.

Target Groups

1. Female heads of households and their families.
2. Torture survivors and their families
3. Victims of disability due to war and their families.
4. Children of the war. 5.Torture survivors in prison.
6. Former LTTE cadres in rehabilitations.

Our mission

To mobilize survivors of war and natural disasters in the North, East and South of Sri Lanka with special emphasis on marginalized groups including IDPs and torture victims to deal with their psychosocial and physical distress through community based holistic care, rehabilitation, education, economic empowerment and peace building

Our Goal

To Foster social and mental well being among all ethnic communities through social, cultural and economic development programmes.

WELCOME TO SURVIVORS ASSOCIATED

Survivors Associated (SA) was established in 1996 to conduct psychosocial development activities at grass roots level in conflict areas. It is now active in the districts of Mannar, Vavuniya, Batticaloa Ampara,Tangalle,and the Vanni. SA works through secondary school educated young people from the areas, who are trained to work within their communities as psychosocial caregivers as business counsellors and in peace building.

Survivors associated programmes include training, services and awareness building on Psychosocial and Disability Rehabilitation, Economic development and conflict resolution modules
